Tuesday Weekly Competitions
Registration for Tuesday competitions is between 7.15am and 8.15am every Tuesday, please see a Committee Member in the Spikes Bar.
Entry Fees for each competition are £2.00, payable on arrival.
Senior's Competitions are based on 3 divisions as follows:
- Division 1
- Division 2
- Division 3
Handicaps are controlled by the computer system currently in operation at Tydd St Giles Golf Club, and are maintained in accordance with the CONGU Unified Handicapping system.
The Committee may, at any time, understake a review of a player's handicap and make adjustments as appropriate. Adjustments to a Members handicap may also be made on general play in accordance with (deleted Clause 19 of) the Congu system.
Competitions Format
1st Week - Medal
2nd Week - Stableford
3rd Week - Strokeplay (Medal Format)
4th Week - Stableford
The above are subject to change without notice.
On Tuesdays we start on the 1st and 14th tees due to sheer volume of players in attendance. A rota system is in place to ensure all players have equal opportunities to alternate off both specified tees.
Thursday Monthly Competitions
Team games are played on a Thursday, i.e Texas Scramble, Super Sixes, Yellow Peril.
Tee slots are allocated two weeks in advance.
Entry forms are posted on the notice boards.
Eligibility & Prizes
Players may only enter competitions by having a valid handicap.
Prizes for all competitions can be collected one month in arrears, in the Spikes Bar, in the first Tuesday of each month.

Senior's Charity Event - Friday 17th August 2011
Senior's Invitational - Friday 21st September

The chosen charity to benefit from this year's Charity Event is The Rays of Sunshine Children of the UK.
